Unpossible Tic-Tac-Toe
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 21, 2026
This policy explains information handled by the Android version of Unpossible Tic-Tac-Toe, provided by Journey Defined Customs LLC (“we” or “us”). It covers the game; other websites and services you visit have their own privacy policies.
Information saved on your device
The game saves your wins, losses, draws, lifetime progress, unlocked achievements, and preferences on your device so they remain available when you return. The game does not upload these saved records to our servers or provide cloud synchronization.
You do not need an account, name, email address, or date of birth to play. The leaderboard is a fictional part of the game, not a public ranking of other players. Your score is not published to other players.
Advertising and Google services
The game uses Google AdMob banner ads and Google's User Messaging Platform to check advertising privacy requirements. Development builds use test ads; production builds request ads from our AdMob banner unit. Ad availability depends on Google's approval and ad availability. Both test and production advertising involve communication with Google.
Google's advertising software processes technical information such as your IP address, which can indicate an approximate location; app and ad interactions; diagnostics; and SDK identifiers, such as app set ID, where used by the SDK under its configuration. These are used to deliver and measure advertising, operate the service, and prevent fraud. The game does not request precise location permission.
All ads have a G content limit. Players under 18 receive child-directed, under-age, non-personalized advertising treatment; Google is instructed not to transmit their Android advertising ID. Players who select 18 or older may receive personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads depending on applicable privacy requirements and their choices. The app includes Android advertising-ID permission for eligible adult requests. Publisher first-party ID remains disabled. These settings do not stop all technical data collection.
On each app launch after age setup, Google's privacy service checks whether ads can be requested and presents required consent messages to adults. Where available, Settings → Ad Privacy Choices lets adults revisit those choices. Declining personalization does not prevent playing. If the privacy check fails or an unresolved privacy requirement prevents advertising, the game continues without requesting a banner. We have not added a separate analytics service or additional advertising networks.
For Google's handling of information, including retention and privacy controls, see the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Google may process information on servers in different countries.
Children and families
Children may play this game. At first launch we ask you to select an age group: under 13, 13–15, 16–17, or 18 or older. We store only that selection on your device, not your date of birth. We do not upload the selected age-group value to our servers. We send age-treatment flags to Google to distinguish protected users from adults for advertising and consent handling. An age-group selection is required before playing. You can exit without making a selection. Every under-18 group receives the protected treatment described above. We do not ask children to consent to personalized advertising. The game has no chat, public profiles, photo uploads, or requests for a child's contact details.
Parents or guardians can contact us to request review or deletion of information about their child, or to request that further collection or use stop. Email the privacy contact below with the subject “Child privacy request” and describe your request without including unnecessary information about the child. We may ask for limited information needed to verify your authority and locate the relevant information. We can handle information we hold and help direct requests concerning Google's services; we cannot remotely access or identify a child's locally saved game progress. To stop the game communicating with advertising services immediately, keep the device offline while playing or stop using the app. Instructions for removing local data appear below.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any information or attachments you choose to include. Please share only what is needed to explain your question.
We use Zoho to handle email sent to our contact address. Zoho processes those messages as our email service provider.
We use support messages to answer your request, troubleshoot problems, and handle privacy or safety concerns. We do not use support messages for advertising or mailing lists, and we do not sell them. You may request deletion using the contact below. We may need to retain relevant messages for an ongoing issue or dispute, or to meet a legal obligation. Copies held in service-provider backups are subject to the provider's retention procedures.
Keeping and deleting information
Locally saved progress and preferences remain until you remove the app's stored data. The in-game Reset Scores button clears the displayed record, but intentionally keeps lifetime achievement progress. To remove all local progress and preferences, use Android Settings → Apps → Unpossible → Storage → Clear data (wording varies by device), or uninstall the game. This cannot be undone through the game.
Clearing app data does not delete information already processed by Google or messages you sent to us. Google explains its retention practices and available controls in its privacy policy. Contact us to ask about accessing, correcting, or deleting information you supplied directly to us, or to raise a privacy concern.
Security
Game saves are kept in the app's local storage. Google states that data collected by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. No system can guarantee complete security.
Policy updates
We will update this policy when the game's data practices change and identify the effective date here. Material changes will be communicated as required. A future release with different advertising, account, or online features must be reviewed before this policy is used for it.
